Hi, I’m Kelly Breen, and if you live in the 21st District, I’ve been proudly representing you in Lansing since 2020. My goal from day one has been to help us find common ground and make our state and our lives even better—together.
During my time in office, I built upon my record of bipartisanship and have passed a number of laws to benefit all Michiganders. From reforming our criminal justice system, to protecting seniors and children, to ensuring economic opportunities for anyone willing to step up, I have a record to be proud of. As chair of the House Judiciary Committee, I helped shepherd through bills codifying reproductive freedom, ensuring LGBTQ+ rights, and both wrote and passed common sense firearm legislation.
Although I’ve spent the past nearly four years striving to make a positive impact on our communities, there are so many other matters that need attention, from our post-COVID economy to inflation, climate change, school safety, and infrastructure. As your voice in the Michigan Legislature, I want to hear from you about what matters most in your neighborhood and community.

MY PRIORITIES
The people of Michigan’s 21st House District are hard-working and embrace our diversity. We know that just a few steps from our homes we can be in front of our choice of stunning lakes, bustling business districts, or quaint downtowns. In all of the years I have lived here, I have learned that, when it comes down to it, we all want the same things; we just might not have the same ideas about how to get there.
