Novi wants more details before approving Chick-fil-A near Twelve Oaks

NOVI, MI – Chick-fil-A wants to move forward with plans to open a standalone restaurant off I-96 near Twelve Oaks Mall, but Novi officials want to see more before giving the OK.

The Atlanta-based chain is seeking to rezone the property where a Denny’s restaurant once operated at 27750 Novi Road, with plans to build a new eatery there with a drive-through and a children’s play area.

But city council members during a Monday, May 20 meeting said they have concerns about traffic flow, and want to see a more specific site plan at their next meeting…
